Games at work

Games at work is a video work that is based on the adopted model of taking breaks in some companies, when employees spend 30 minutes playing with flying disc, playing badminton, table football, billiards, etc. In this video, workers of the Institute for Protection of Cultural Monuments Subotica play social games that, beside the social moment, require bodily activation. Following effect of these games is actually encouraging the psychological state of the child. The artist usually works from a child ego state where creation, naturalness and playing come from, and that is why this way of spending time is useful for all the other people who are not artists. Games have the ability to renew creativity, mood and ideas in just 30 minutes. Work is accompanied by statements of workers from the background in which they talk about how they feel about the burnout syndrome and how they relate to the unstructured working hours when there is no work to be done.
